Pick up your kit at the bar and settle in at one of our open tables. Our Rock Painting Experience is a calm, creative activity that adds a cheerful twist to your visit. Whether you're adding on a glass of Folkin’ Hard Cider, a Bonnieheath wine, or enjoying some lavender lemonade or ice cream, it’s a great way to relax and make something special.
Each kit includes smooth prepped rocks, bright paints, brushes, and simple tools for detail work. We also give you clear samples for inspiration, like ladybugs, lavender, turtles, flip-flops, and even some funny ones like a cactus with a face. But you can paint anything you want. It’s your time to play.
How it works:
You’re renting the full painting kit and you can take as much time as you like. There are more paints and tools than you'll need, so feel free to explore. We work on the honour system. We do check the kits before and after, just to make sure everything stays clean and ready for the next guest.
A Bonnieheath tradition:
A couple of years ago, something sweet started happening - guests began painting rocks and leaving them here. And just like that, a quiet little tradition was born. If you paint a rock and choose to leave it somewhere on the farm, it will be respected as part of our growing collection. We might gently move it if it ends up somewhere the tractor roams, but otherwise, it stays right here.. waiting for you each season you return. Some folks even bring family and friends back just to show them their little spot of colour in the field or garden. We love that, and we’re hoping to grow this tradition even more.
