Frequently Asked Questions
Where are the washrooms?
Our washrooms are located in the retail store, our staff is happy to show you.
During the summer months, we also have outdoor toilets with a handwashing station.
Do you have Tours?
We are happy to announce that we are doing Tours again! All tours and experiences must be booked online in advance.
When does the lavender bloom?
The lavender usually blooms from mid-June to early August. We harvest the fields section by section so there might be areas already harvested when you come to visit. Also, summer weather plays a huge factor in the bloom and harvest.
Do you host weddings?
We can host your wedding ceremony of up to 50 people. Visit our page or book a consultation.
We recommend you include our Airbnb Farmhouse and Cellar Suite in your plans. It is perfect for Honeymoons, Wedding pictures, Bachelorette parties.
Is the estate wheelchair accessible?
Our retail store is accessible, and we also have a road way from the parking lot around to the Lavender fields that is accessible. Our lavender fields are nice and flat and the ground is smooth and solid, similar to a well-maintained park. We also have a wheelchair accessible table, sitting in our Lavender Sunray, next to the Gazebo.
We do our best to keep our property accessible, however, please keep in mind that we are still a Farm.
Do you have “pick your own” lavender?
Yes! We have rates based on weights, please check in with us so we can teach you how. We also have fresh lavender bundles (during peak-season) and dried lavender available during the bloom season.
Do you serve tastings?
Yes, we offer 1 oz sample tastings, 5 oz wine by the glass, and 8 oz cider by the glass. You can walk anywhere on our property (except parking areas) while you sip. Samples can be ordered at the tasting counter or at our walk up windows.
Tasting experiences and Tours are a wonderful way to experience Bonnieheaths world-class charm.
Do I have to pay an entrance fee to visit?
We do not charge a Fee in the Winter and Spring! There's food, Wine, Folkin' Hard Cider, lavender drinks and frozen beverages, lavender products and flowers!
Are pets allowed?
We love well-mannered pets on a leash and have designated areas to play. We do not allow any pets in the lavender or vineyard and trust pet owners to clean up their pets' waste. Remember that some guests are afraid of dogs specifically so please refrain from walking them or resting in busy areas or near the retail entrances.
Is there free parking?
There is!
As you turn into our driveway at the Bonnieheath sign, steer to the left which will send you to the Retail parking lot. If this lot is full, we have another parking to the right of the entrance, marked "Overflow" parking.
Do you sell lavender plants?
Yes, we do! They are available for now!
