Our English Lavender Floral Water is a pure, artisanally crafted hydrosol made on-site from Lavandula angustifolia, grown and harvested with care on our farm. This is not a diluted essential oil product or synthetic fragrance. It is a true hydrosol, created through traditional steam distillation using lavender flowers and clean, untreated yet tested and safe water sourced directly from our land.

The result is a delicately aromatic botanical water that contains naturally occurring water-soluble compounds and microdroplets of essential oil, suspended within the distillate. It is suitable for a wide range of applications and appreciated for its mild, plant-based qualities.

How It’s Made

We grow heirloom English lavender in a regenerative, no-spray environment using permaculture principles.

Flowers are harvested at peak bloom and steam distilled the same day in stainless steel distillation equipment.

Water used in the distillation process is untreated spring-fed water from our farm, tested and confirmed safe for use.

Each batch is single-origin and undiluted. No additives or preservatives are used.

Qualities and Applications

This lavender floral water is valued for its fresh botanical scent and mild character. It may be used in:

Personal care routines, such as a gentle skin mist or facial toner

Household use as a linen or air freshener

General-purpose botanical spray to refresh skin or surroundings

Our hydrosol is packaged with care to retain freshness and purity, and is best stored away from heat and direct sunlight.

From Plant to Bottle: A Closed-Loop Approach

Every bottle of our lavender hydrosol reflects our broader commitment to ecological balance and sustainable living. Grown in harmony with our biodiverse farm and pollinator-friendly practices, our lavender is supported by on-site composting and natural soil-building methods. Our system avoids synthetic inputs and integrates with the rhythms of Bonnieheath's land, water, and community.
