Here you can imagine the endless possibilities of experiences you can create for yourself and your guests. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDepending on the style and type of wedding you're planning, you want to consider all of our beautiful naturalistic spaces. We also offer the rental of wedding décor, and necessities such as chairs, signing table, and portable restrooms.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur beautiful property has many options for your special day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOur white Gazebo sits in the middle of our Lavender Sun Ray. It can fit up to 25 guests, but is better suited for a group of 20.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe greenspace directly outside of the Gazebo. The space is 100' in diameter, and is a natural surface, mostly of grass, and clover. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe Lavender Distillery Kiln is available to hold up to 45 max. Beautiful furniture is set up in staged vignettes, to give your event a stylish yet familiar feel.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe 3-bedroom Farmhouse can sleep up to 8 guests It is outfitted for entertaining, with a commercial kitchen, a front porch swing, and an 8-person hot tub. Up to 15 guests can be inside at one time, but not overnight. Up to 45 people can congregate on the lawn area. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWe have several outdoor greenspaces that are also available to rent. Our Side Lawn sits near the entrance and parking. A little further back the spaces become private. Small groups can use the space in front of our Crab Apple Tree. Larger groups can use the space at the end of the Vineyard near our wetland. Our broad license allows your guests to enjoy a glass of wine or cider in your space, while exploring the property or taking pictures. There is no outside Wine or Cider allowed, on Bonnieheath product is permitted. No exceptions. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs per our license, we must serve all wines and ciders By The Glass. Wine and Cider consumed at Bonnieheath Estate is $8.00 per glass, and there is no bottle discount. Case discounts on Wine for after the event are available online or instore. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you wish to have beer or liquor at your event, you can apply for a Special Occasion Permit. The permit allows you to purchase beer and liquor from the LCBO, and bring it to your event at Bonnieheath.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eServers and hosts\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne option is to have your guests purchase from our retail store or our walk up window. There is no charge for this. They can take their drink back to your event, or wander our beautiful Farm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnother option is for you to have a tab, and your guests can pick those drinks up at our retail or walk up window. We will hand you the bill at the end of the event.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBonnieheath Estate hosts and servers are usually available, and must be booked in advance. There is no additional charge if your guests come to pick up drinks at the Winery, alongside our other guests, during business hours. You can also bring your own Smart Serve server. Our servers can help manage your cash box, but please keep in mind that we do not have an ATM onsite. Bonnieheath is the perfect choice for your wedding night, ceremony, cocktail hour and photography. The Vineyard and Lavender landscape make a picturesque and magical setting for your special day.
This Wedding Ceremony card allows you to book and secure your date, any time of year. We suggest you book a Venue Consult if you would like to taste our wines, and do a walk about the property to scope out where you'd like your ceremony.
The booking also includes up to a 2 hour photography session on the grounds (your photographer); during this time your guests can get a drink and wander the beautiful property while the wedding party is doing photos; free parking; a portable handicap accessible restroom with hand wash station will be nearby, plus access to indoor washrooms during business hours.
As a gift from us, the Wedding Ceremony pass also includes a separate visit Photography Pass (up to 2 hours) so you and your own photographer can take pictures during Lavender Bloom. Photography Pass must be booked separately with the coupon provided, after your Wedding Ceremony Pass is approved.
Please note, this pass does not include the space rental. While many weddings may elect to reserve all prominent spaces, like our Bed and Breakfast, our Gazebo, or our Kiln, some may prefer to have their party move from location to location. It is important to remember that your guests are not allowed to congregate around any space that is not reserved by your party. They are welcome to wander our 130 acre property, they are even allowed to take a glass of wine or cider along for the stroll. They can also pause at an unoccupied table to catch their breathe, and there is lots of seating all around. If you have guests who are less mobile, we recommend always having a home base space reserved. Reserve your space, for your special day, as early as possible.
Be aware that our Winery is open to the public, and our Farm is a working Farm. We cannot control the weather, the plants, nor the environment. We hope your day is as perfect as it can be, but there are other things going on around Bonnieheath at the same time. Please be respectful to other guests, and employees, who may be nearby. Other groups may be renting the same space, before or after your group, especially during peak Summer days. Weddings that have space continuously booked from 11-5, have extended set-up access. Set up can begin after 5 pm the day before & take down up to 11am the day after event. For spaces that are not booked continuously, decorations may not be left out, if another party has reserved the space.
