Our vineyard is rooted in well-draining sandy soil, which encourages deep root growth and enhances fruit development. Instead of relying on synthetic inputs, we nurture our vines with compost teas, cover crops, and regenerative practices, fostering a thriving vineyard biome that translates into expressive, high-quality fruit.
Available Grape Varieties:
- Lucy Kuhlmann – A teinturier grape known for its deep colour, high acidity, and structured tannins, ideal for bold, age-worthy reds.
- Petite Pearl – A cold-hardy red with low tannins, balanced acidity, and dark berry and spice notes, perfect for smooth, fruit-forward wines.
- Marquette – A refined hybrid with cherry, blackcurrant, and spice tones, offering a balance of fruit and structure.
- Marechal Foch – Produces earthy, dark-fruited wines with soft tannins and lively acidity, often likened to Pinot Noir.
- Frontenac Rouge – A versatile red variety with bold blackberry, cherry, and plum flavours, suitable for dry reds, rosés, and fortified wines.
- Frontenac Gris – A complex white grape with notes of peach, citrus, and tropical fruit, balanced by refreshing acidity.
- Seyval Blanc – A crisp, citrus-driven white with green apple notes and a bright, clean finish, great for blending or as a varietal.
- La Crescent – Highly aromatic, offering apricot, honey, and floral notes, reminiscent of Gewürztraminer.
